Martyn Mordecai

Martyn Mordecai is a highly experienced trainer and former police officer. He spent over a decade in the Metropolitan Police in various Operational posts, including the Firearms Unit and Diplomatic Protection. Martyn has also served as Head of Training for the Police Federation of England and Wales, delivering training to over 2000 individuals. Currently, Martyn works as a trainer for Driver Education, delivering various National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme Courses and Drink/Drive Rehabilitation Courses. Martyn delivers our exclusive and highly popular ‘Criminal Offence Workshop’ sessions.

Sobrina Soloman

Sobrina Soloman is a Level 6 qualified Bengali Interpreter have been working as an interpreter for the past six years. Sobrina has a qualification in Advice and guidance, and at the age of 19, she became a Welfare Benefits Advice Worker. After working as a Health Development Officer in her local community, she decided to pursue her community interpreting dreams by obtaining a Level 3 certificate, followed by the Level 6 Diploma in Community Interpreting. Sobrina specialises in delivering CPD sessions on mental health and social services matters.

Jose Rodriguez-Olveira

Jose studied Legal Translation in Argentina and after graduating he moved to Spain where he worked as translator, teacher and Court Interpreter for 11 years. He has been living in the UK since 1999 and developed a career as a teacher, legal translator, and interpreter. Jose has worked as interpreter for Human Resources, Occupational healthcare, Social Security, the NHS and the courts. Many of you know Jose as our resident Courts expert.

Rejeen Musa

Rejeen is an obstetrics and gynaecology doctor (women’s health). She also works as a freelance interpreter for both Kurdish and Arabic languages. In addition, in her spare time, Rejeen is a keen blogger and is currently training to become a registered counsellor and therapist. Rejeen delivers live CPD sessions within the medical field, with a specialism in obstetrics. 

Mark Rodriguez

Mark is a qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse and a Registered General Nurse and he worked for the NHS, mainly in the field of mental health, for 31 years. His main focus was the management of acute mental health conditions for people who are in crisis. For the past 8 years, Mark has worked for the Healthcare Regulator in England and serves on the national Mental Health working group. Quite fittingly, Mark delivers our sessions on dealing with trauma.

Mirjana Novakovic

Mirjana holds a Level 6 Diploma in Community Interpreting and is an NRPSI registered interpreter for the Serbian language. Her specialist areas are police, court, prison and probation services. Apart from interpreting in legal settings, Mirjana also works as an interpreter in other public service settings like medical, educational, mental health and social services, or any other settings where her services may be required. Mirjana delivers CPD events on Simultaneous Interpreting, Tribunals and other Level 6 settings.

Agnes Tomasikiewicz

Agnieszka (Agnes) Tomasikiewicz is a director-solicitor at Trojan Solicitors, where she manages and supervises a team of solicitors and caseworkers. She also delivers in house training sessions for her colleagues in relation to any law related changes/updates. Having worked as a freelance interpreter/translator for the last 16 years she also obtained Level 6 Community Interpreting qualification from ISL and in addition to providing legal services she continues to provide interpreting/translation in various settings.
